Terry A. Andino

Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of New Jersey since 1995
American Massage Therapy Association

As a therapeutic massage practitioner, I want to empower my clients to make conscious choices about wellness and lifestyle. A massage therapist for more than fifteen years, I draw from a range of methodologies to address my clients’ needs. My training and specializations are neuromuscular therapy, also known as trigger point release, myofascial release, active isolated stretching and prenatal massage.

During the past fifteen years, I have worked extensively in Florida and New Jersey. I co-founded and directed the Marlboro Center for Alternative Therapies, Inc., one of first integrated wellness centers in the State of New Jersey. When it opened, we were the only facility to offer massage therapy, acupuncture, physical therapy, chiropractic and nutritional counseling all under one umbrella, thus providing comprehensive quality care. I trained and worked with the world-renowned kinesiologist, Aaron Mattes, who developed and pioneered a therapy technique called active isolated stretching, which I incorporate in my work. In Naples, Florida, I co-owned the Pain Management Specialists of Naples and our group provided massage therapy, chiropractics, acupuncture and private and group pilates.

Many of my clients have chosen to work with me because of their specialized needs and my responsive approach. For example, while working in Florida, I treated members of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Naples who after practicing for ten hours, needed treatment to be able to resume play the following day. I have worked with golf and tennis pros who relied on massage to be successful in their work. I have worked with both pre and post operative patients and those suffering from a range of problems including MS, Lymes, scoliosis, frozen shoulder, TMJ, migraines, sciatic pain, neck/back pain, whiplash, tennis elbow, prenatal and general muscle dysfunctions.
